martial arts
“Stillness is only the opposite of action. By experimenting both of the two polarities the essence can be understood…”
The World Movement for Indian Fine Arts dedicates this section to those who operates in the Martial Arts. This section takes into consideration the more energetic, assertive and competitive human being’s part. In the past years, Martial Arts were practised by men for the most, with rare historical exceptions, now there are many women who try this discipline.
Indian Martial Art seems to be the most ancient ones. It spreads a message of esteem for the adversary. Esteem that can be find in almost all oriental martial arts. These disciplines propagate very deep principles and values in Western Countries.
A philosophical- spiritual base on which all martial arts establish themselves.
Nowadays it is in some way influenced by a western point of view and because of this it is loosing its pleasing-ness and becoming a sport only or even a show.
The Movement for Indian Fine Arts would appreciate that the love and joy of the ancient animus should be rediscovered through these pages. Even a research of different kind of martial arts having its basis in respect and an “act right” will be accepted.
